Jared Cooper, MD

Dr. Jared Cooper is a neurosurgeon whose primary areas of expertise include surgical and endovascular treatment of intracerebral hemorrhage, subdural hematoma, cerebral aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, moyamoya disease, ischemic stroke, and carotid stenosis or dissection. Dr. Cooper also provides general neurosurgical treatment for conditions of the brain and spine including benign and malignant neoplasms, hydrocephalus, disc herniation and spinal stenosis.
After earning his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY, Dr. Cooper completed his neurosurgical residency and neuroendovascular surgery fellowship at Westchester Medical Center.
Dr. Cooper’s research interests include acute stroke management and the treatment of cerebral aneurysms using emerging technologies. He has published over 50 peer-reviewed journal articles, numerous textbook chapters, and has presented his work at national meetings.
Kaushik Das, MD

Dr. Kaushik Das is Chief of Neurosurgery at White Plains Hospital's Center for Advanced Medicine and Surgery (CAMS) where his practice is focused on complex spine surgery, craniovertebral junction disorders, and tumors of the brain and spine.
Dr. Das earned his M.D. cum laude from the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn. This was followed by an internship in general surgery at the Westchester County Medical Center's New York Medical College, after which he completed his residency in neurosurgery at the same institution.
He then went on to complete a fellowship in spinal surgery at Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Ariz. Board-certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgeons and by the National Board of Medical Examiners, Dr. Das also belongs to the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS).
After completing his fellowship he joined the faculty at New York Medical College where he was the Director of Spine Section for Neurosurgery for 10 years before coming to White Plains Hospital in 2015.
Virany Huynh Hillard, MD

Dr. Virany Huynh Hillard is Director of Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery at White Plains Hospital's Center for Advanced Medicine and Surgery (CAMS), where she provides surgical treatments for several conditions affecting the nervous system, including cervical disc herniation, cervical spondylosis, lumbar disc herniation, lumbar spinal tumor, brain tumor, hydrocephalus, thoracic disc herniation, and Chiari malformation.
She earned her B.A. from Harvard University and her M.D. cum laude from New York University, followed by an internship in general surgery at the New York Medical College Westchester Medical Center and a neurosurgery residency at the same institution. Dr. Huynh Hillard then completed a spine surgery fellowship in the Department of Neurological and Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Utah.
Her background also includes serving as associate clinical professor of neurological surgery at New York Medical College and as assistant professor of neurological surgery at the University of Washington.
In addition, Dr. Huynh Hillard is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the American Medical Association. North American Spine Surgeons. She will service as the president of the New York Neurosurgical Society in 2 years.
