Dr. Adriana Suarez-Ligon is a board-certified and fellowship-trained breast surgeon/oncologist who cares for patients with breast cancer, benign breast conditions, and those at increased risk for developing breast cancer. She provides thorough, individualized care and believes every patient deserves clear information, compassionate guidance, and a dedicated team supporting them at each step.
Dr. Suarez-Ligon earned her medical doctorate from New Jersey Medical School and completed her general surgery residency at Rutgers University. She completed her advanced Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine and is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and an active member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons.
As a Latina breast surgeon and native Spanish speaker, Dr. Suarez-Ligon is committed to improving communication and access to care for diverse patients and families. She is passionate about ensuring that people who often feel overlooked or lost in the medical system feel seen, heard, and supported. She takes time to explain diagnoses and treatment options in a way that makes sense, and she works closely with medical and radiation oncology, plastic surgery, genetics, radiology, and survivorship teams to provide truly comprehensive care.
Dr. Suarez-Ligon was born in the Bronx to Cuban parents and raised in Bergen County, NJ. She lives in New Jersey with her husband and two children. She values family, community, and creating a comforting, supportive environment for her patients.
Adrienne Fueg, MD, FACS

Dr. Fueg is a board certified surgeon who specializes in general, breast and advanced laparoscopic surgery. She has been practicing medicine for 20 years and currently practices with Highland Surgical Associates in West Nyack, NY. She was an attending physician at Elk Regional Medical Center in St. Mary’s Pennsylvania for five years and had a private practice in the Bronx for seven years prior to joining Highland Surgical.
Dr. Fueg earned her medical degree from SUNY-Health Science Center at Brooklyn. She completed her General Surgery Residency at Lincoln Medical & Mental Health Center, New York Medical College, and Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center, New York Medical College. In addition, she completed a Critical Care Fellowship at Lincoln Medical & Mental Health Center.
She is a member of the Society of Women Surgeons and the American Society of Breast Surgeons as well as a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephew, hockey, travel, exercise and sewing.
Her research has been published in The Journal of the American College of Surgeons, Psychopharmacology and Brain Research.
Sophia Rodriguez, MS, CGC

Sophia Rodriguez, MS, CGC, is a board-certified genetic counselor specializing in cancer genetics at Montefiore Nyack Hospital. She earned her Master of Science in Human Genetics from Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, NY.
Sophia provides comprehensive hereditary cancer risk assessments, as well as pre-and post-test counseling, and coordination of genetic testing for individuals and families with personal or family histories of cancer.
Her clinical experience spans oncology, reproductive, and ophthalmic genetics. She has also contributed to research focused on Alzheimer's disease risk communication. Sophia is committed to delivering clear, evidence-based education and guiding patients to make informed decisions about genetic testing.
