Kayvan Roayaie, MD

Dr. Kayvan Roayaie is a general surgeon with WPHPA Surgical Specialists. He is certified by the American Board of Surgeons. A graduate in biochemistry from Rutgers University in New Jersey, he obtained a PhD in biochemistry and genetics and subsequently his medical degree from the University of California San Francisco (UCSF). Dr. Roayaie continued his training at UCSF, completing his residency in general surgery, a fellowship in transplant surgery and advanced training in clinical research. Prior to joining White Plains Hospital, he was an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery, Division of Abdominal Organ Transplantation, and Surgical Director of Pediatric Kidney Transplantation at Oregon Health & Science University.

Sasan Roayaie, MD

Sasan Roayaie, MD, provides individualized care for complex liver, bile duct, and pancreas cancers. He not only performs any needed operations, but he can also devise an entire treatment program for patients who are not eligible for surgery. He works closely with interventional radiologists, hematologists, and oncologists to implement the care plan.

Dr. Roayaie received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Piscataway. He completed his residency in General Surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He has completed two fellowships: Transplantation Lab at Recanati-Miller Transplantation Institute and Multi-organ Abdominal Transplantation at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons.
